Hand Painting Duplicate Wedding Dresses for The River Bride

Above is washing text swatches to see if washing the fabric will degrade the color and opacity. A is 1 wash, B is 2, C is 3 washes, and D is 4 washes because that is the most we would wash it during the production run.

Process shots 

1 part paint, 1 part Golden Acrylic Medium : GAC 900, and 1 part water mixture to paint. 

Two wedding dresses were needed because the actors had a large height difference therefore the project had to be carefully stenciled out.

After the fitting (photo to the right), there were more details added to the wedding dress. Production photos below.
